October 2022 Express Entry Draw Result

The results of the Express Entry draw held on October 12 are listed below.

The draw on October 12 considered applicants from all three Express Entry programs: Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), and Federal Skilled Trades (FST). 4,250 applicants were invited to apply in the Express Entry draw for Canadian immigration held on October 12. (ITA).

For this draw, the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score cutoff of 500 points was applied.

What is the lowest the CRS cut-off score will go?

The CRS cut-off point for the Express Entry draw on October 12 has almost fallen below 500 points. Given recent trends, there is a high likelihood that the CRS score cut-off will fall below 500 points on Wednesday, October 26 in the event of a draw.

Naturally, 500 points is still a lot higher than the typical cut-off for all-program draws before the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, many candidates are currently unsure of what to expect in the upcoming months.

What is the lowest score the CRS will accept?

Nobody is entirely aware of all upcoming CRS score thresholds. This is true because a wide range of variables influence the CRS score cut-off. All of these unpredictable variables have a variable impact on the cut-off:

How many applicants will be invited for each round?

The precise number will be a significant factor in determining the CRS score cut-off, even though the IRCC has stated they plan to invite thousands of applicants per round.

How many candidates will enter/exit the pool?

Express Entry is highly sought after. The applicant pool might get even bigger, keeping the CRS cut-off level higher.

In the upcoming months, will the IRCC continue to hold all-program draws?
The IRCC may alternate between draws that consider all candidates and draws that consider candidates only for specific programmes.

In 2023, what effects will targeted draws have?

The IRCC will introduce Express Entry draws in early 2023, and they will target candidates based on a range of factors, including occupation, language ability, education, and more. When this change is implemented, the CRS score cut-off could be significantly changed, for example by establishing various cut-offs for various occupations. More information should become available in the coming months.
